On 1st April, 2011 P. C. Woo & Co. joined hands with Zhonglun W&D Law Firm to form an association that has been approved by the Ministry of Justice in Beijing under the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, popularly known as “CEPA”.
With immediate effect, this association means that Zhonglun W&D Law Firm and P. C. Woo & Co. are both able to add value to our clients by providing a one stop and through-train service covering multi jurisdictions.
As part of this association, P. C. Woo & Co. will be positioned to service the needs of clients in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Tianjin, Wuhan, Jinan, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Xian, Nanjing, Xiamen, Changzhou, Changsha, Chongqing and Hong Kong. Together with our associates, we can advise on the laws of China, England and Wales, Saudi Arabia and of course Hong Kong. Our clients need only contact one of our professional staff in our Hong Kong office to access professional legal services in any of the above jurisdictions.
In 2016, P. C. Woo & Co. was one of the first to be given approval by the Chinese Ministry of Justice to establish a full partnership office with Beijing Zhonglun W&D Law Firm in Qianhai. P.C. Woo & Zhonglun W.D. LLP will be a precedent of co-practice by the Mainland and Hong Kong lawyers in one firm.
