Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the HK's Handover with the elderly on July 28th, 2007
We celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the HK's Handover to China with the elderly at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Tseung Kwan O Aged Care Complex on July 28th, 2007. We had more than 30 participants joining this meaningful community service. It was really a memorable day at the complex with the elderly. We were first given a tour of the complex and a brief introduction of the facilities they had there. The event was then kicked off by a speech from our Senior Partner, Mr. Moses Cheng. We had prepared a series of performances and games for the elderly. To share a piece of the celebrative 10th anniversary of the HK's handover, we gave each of the elderly a gift pack with almond cookies, a towel set, a box of Pak Fah Yeow & a bottle of shower gel all packed in a recycle bag. The event ended with joy and laughter of all the elderly, the volunteers and our colleagues.
